Monistic Universe


Mr. Amit Goswami (1993) described awareness as the medium which impacts quantum objects to make their behavior rational. He did so, while searching for the actual basis of objective reality and nature of one's mind. In selecting this norm, he wishes to project how, non-energetically, mind can influence matter, as they share a similar core.

Goswami expects to rationally and comprehensively resolve some of the important inconsistencies of physics, by shifting from a universe, based on bits of matter, to one based on realization. He feels that everything is made of consciousness instead of atoms. Supposing vague objects become waves and spread at places, more than one, because quantum mechanics has shown, consciousness may then become the media that concentrates the waves in a way that we can see them at a single place.

Amit Goswami calls it philosophy, Monism as against dualism and it remains idealism as ideas and not awareness of them are believed to be the basic elements of reality. Matter is just believed to be secondary.

Mind's phenomenon like self consciousness, discretion, ESP and creativity have been explained afresh in the redevelopment of the body mind in fresh circumstances.

Like that explained by Bohm, both in holographic universe and mystical view, there is just dynamic play of a single large web work of subsistence (holomovement by Bohm). This combined movement, a play of creation and destruction, has intentionality.

Goswami does not suggest, however, that awareness is mind; they are varying conceptions.

The awareness of the subject in an object - subject experience is similar to the consciousness which is the basis of all being, in monistic idealism. So, consciousness is unitive. The field of potential also exists in consciousness. As a matter of fact, there is nothing outside awareness.

According to Lord Buddha's preaching if there was not this uncreated, this unformed, this un-originated and this unborn, escape from this world of those born, the created, the formed, the originated would be impossible.

However, according to Buddha, there is this necessary ground, and it is possible to get away time-space.

If brain and mind combination is an object in universal consciousness that covers entire reality, then what we know as empirical objective reality is contained in this consciousness. One becomes numerous by self reference, division into hierarchies which are tangled with reiterating information.

The crux is to differentiate between awareness and consciousness.

In the methods we know of, models which are classical, prevail. When we deliberately observe, awareness collapses the quantum state of the mind and brain combine. Accidental processing will not affect the collapse the function of quantum wave, nailing down quantized entities to single reality. Therefore, un-conscious processing allows the expression of universal phenomenon.

The position in the mind and brain combine, with consciousness destroying the function of wave could happen, only in the presence of awareness. There is a hierarchy which is entangled, within the subjective own reference of a system which is monitoring itself.

The von Neumann chain stops where action is by the system which is self-referential.

THAT DARN CAT

Erwin Schrodinger prompted us to remember that observations should be considered as discontinuous and discrete events. There are gaps in-between these which cannot be filled.

He exemplified his popular metaphor of the principle of uncertainty with the example of Schrodinger's Cat. All students of physics ultimately feel tired of listening regarding the cat which is stupid, again and again, wondering if it will be dead or alive.

Goswami tried putting it to rest with his 'nine lives of cat' version:

- The cat, in its first life, is considered only as a statistic, as a part of a group. This cat is upset (as it is denied of its individuality in this group interpretation) but it is not hurt.

- The cat, in its second life, is seen as an illustration of the classical / quantum duality by the conflict ridden philosophers of macro realism. The cat declines to barter its life/death duality for a different dichotomy.

- The cat, in its third life, is faced with unchangeability and uncertainty, however, it says, establish it.

- The cat, in its fourth life, faces the unseen differences and whatever takes place remains hidden.

- In its fifth life, supporters of the Copenhagen Interpretation, try to eliminate the cat, by adopting the philosophy related to logical positivism. However, the cat escapes unharmed, by most judgments.

- The cat, in its sixth life, comes across many worlds. No one knows it might have passed away in some universe, however from what we can say, certainly not in this one.

- The cat, in its seventh life, encounters Bohr and also his complementarity, however, what saves it is the query 'What forms a measurement?'

- The cat, in its eighth life, encounters consciousness directly, but Wigner's companion saves it.

- And ultimately, the cat, in its ninth life, finds deliverance, in the optimist's interpretation.

From these models, only three are not faulty:

- The theory of numerous worlds

- Theory related to hidden universal variables and

- The theory of monistic optimism

PHILOSOPHY OF CHOICE

The optimist resolve of the absurdity of the cat's existence requires that the consciousness of the subject who is observing choose one aspect from the versatile alive and dead rational top position of the cat and therefore seals its destiny.

The person is the one who chooses, and selection is primary to existence, that is to say.. I am, because I choose.

Liberty to choose means the likelihood of going from an old circumstance to one which is new and at a level which is higher. The capability to choose, although it is a recognizing selection, informs us of the experiences we choose from. From the innumerable different choices, we understand the path of our individual becoming, and describe our self. Whether to choose or not, is the most important point of consciousness in oneself.

What is more precise than the previous notion of those who are not conscious, is our mindful self is not conscious of most of the things nearly all the time as well as every thing in untroubled sleep. Ironically, those who are not conscious are holistically, universally aware of most things at all times. It never goes to sleep. Our mindful self is not conscious of the unconscious, as also the unconscious is in fact more mindful than the normal awareness.

Unmindful thoughts and our feelings have an influence over the thoughts which are conscious. Throughout unconscious observation, a feeling that is not conscious can result in an inexplicable conscious feeling. As per Amit Goswami, a choice is an attendant of experience which is conscious, but not of perception which is not conscious. When a choice is made, our subject consciousness arises. The times we don't make a choice, we fail to confess to our perception.

Before we make a choice, the position of the mind and brain combine is in an uncertain state, something similar to Schrodinger's cat. Then, in quantum theory, subject that selects is a lone, common subject and not our individual ego 'I'. Therefore, this non-local choosing awareness is also universal.

Even if one initiates unseen variables to define a fundamental explanation of quantum mechanics, as done by David Bohm, those concealed variables need to be universal. According to the Bohm's theory, light that casts a reflection of reality is casual concealed variables and not the light of imaginative awareness, which the present research indicates could be deterministically disorderly, instead of probabilistic.

As per the interpretation of an idealist, intrusion to the Electron paramagnetic resonance Paradox, indicates universal inter-relation in-between photons. The hidden variables are not required for an explanation. But of course, consciousness must act universal; to enable collapse of the wave function of the universal correlated photons.

Therefore, events occurring at the same time in our time - space world could be correlated to a common reason, meaningfully, that rests in a universal realm outside time and space. This common reason is the action of universal disintegration of consciousness. Therefore it isn't transferring of message (from sender to a receiver, from within a channel) but a communique in awareness. This, based on causality, has vital consequences for the information theory.

Universal consciousness may seem to be like a 'hidden variable', but it doesn't comprise of causal restrictions. Simply, it is us. Universal consciousness works with non-linear imaginative discontinuity right from instant to instant, incident to incident and not with causal continuity.

The quantum leap away from the system, this discontinuity, is an important part of creativity required for consciousness to view itself, as in own reference. This, in other words, means that we could exercise liberty to be open to a new meaning.

VIRTUAL DOMAINS OR FORMLESS POTENTIAL

If an idealist elucidation is to be believed, logical super positions exist in an inspirational arena as origin of matter, which is formless. THE QUANTUM BRAIN

Among the many physicists, a strong sense of belief is arising that our brain is an interactive structure which consists of a quantum macro structure mechanism, as a significant part to the classical neuronal assemble.

The quantum and classical parts of the mind and brain interrelate with a primary idealist structure in which consciousness will be paramount. Investigations after mutual hypnosis, meditation in groups and remote viewing have thrown-up consistency of brain-waves in players, sharing consciousness positions

Like in co-consciousness or remedial relationship, two people interrelate for some period of time, till they realize that a direct (universal) association has been built. The self takes place due to a blanket of discontinuity, a endless oscillation. From the discontinuity emerges the blanket and one's own reference.

Religious mystics have named it The Abyss or The Veil of Isis.

The self part of the self reference remains because of a knotted hierarchy, but our awareness remains the consciousness of the very Being which is far separated from the object subject split. No alternative generator of consciousness is there in the universe.

The self part of the self reference and also awareness of the primary consciousness, together, both make what we know as self consciousness.

EGO AND THE QUANTUM SELF

Prior to the collapse, person is not distinguished from the prototype of tools of experience, mental or physical. Thus making, what we call 'free will' possible.

This procedure can be seen from a 'top down' philosophy or by way of bottom up theory which object subject consciousness comes up as 'order within chaos.'

Why or how does consciousness divide itself?

The position of the mind and brain are believed to be quantum states that are possibility structures, probability weighted and multifaceted. Awareness collapses many faceted structures (a logical super position) selecting one feature but just in front of mind and brain awareness, the mind field in which products of experience come up.

Choice or awareness - which of the two come first?

Secondary and primary processes usually stay preconscious, obliterating the knotted power structure of process which is primary. AH-HA! THE CREATIVE EXPERIENCE

The classical mood of the person deals with knowledge, like a traditional computer, but the person's quantum modality works with interaction. It is knotted as you are not able to tell when data ends and interaction starts; there is separation in the 'cosmic message.'

During the second part of creative enlightenment, interaction is between motivation of the quantum modality and perspiration of classical modality. Quantum waves of our brain amplify and are willing to accept responses which are new.

There is no individual existence or no self nature, in both the subject and the object. The only reality is consciousness, but then, how can we understand it? What is there prior to collapse? The hierarchy which is tangled, the innumerable disorderly oscillation of no yes answers.

The wonderful experience of meditation is the archetype joy of our consciousness in the purest form.
